From print to your page.

Plan a QR code that opens a working page and remains useful after printing.

Start with a stable destination

Encode a public HTTPS URL you intend to keep. A QR code containing an old address will still point there after you redesign your page.

Test the actual print

Scan a proof on different phones, in realistic lighting and at the intended size. Keep clear space around the code and avoid stretching it.

Static and managed codes

A static code stores the URL itself. A managed redirect can change its destination, but depends on the service hosting that redirect. Own Bio Link does not currently generate or manage QR codes.

Illustrative workflow

Example: a restaurant printing a table card

The problem

A QR code points directly to a menu PDF whose filename changes every season.

A clearer route

Where your hosting allows it, use a stable menu page that can be updated without changing its public address.

Try it step by step

  1. Confirm the destination works without a login.
  2. Generate the code using your chosen QR service.
  3. Print a proof at the intended size and scan it before ordering the full batch.
